If you know me, you know that I LOVE iced coffee in all seasons (even winter), but I don't love spending money on my caffeine fix everyday. Though it's fast and convenient to swing by a coffee shop, there is something special about making my own coffee. You might think it won't taste as good or that you don't know how to make it. Well, I have the perfect spring coffee recipe that will have you excited about your morning coffee at home and leave you feeling as confident as a barista!

I'll share how to make my favorite Iced Blueberry Latte (with homemade syrup). It's the most refreshing way to spruce up your coffee this spring, while also getting in the kitchen!
Ingredients:
Blueberry Syrup
1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
Assembly
Ice
Double shot of espresso, (or cold brew, or instant coffee)
Milk of choice
Cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
Blueberry Syrup
Add all the ingredients to a small pot on the stove and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, allow the berries to simmer for about 15 minutes. It is good to press down on the berries during this time, to get as much juice as possible.
After simmering, strain the juice into a jar (I like using mason jars) and allow it to cool.
Keep refrigerated!
Assembly
Once you have made the syrup, you are ready to make your latte!
Add almost a full cup of ice to your cup.
Then, pour desired amount of blueberry syrup over the ice.
Next add your choice of milk (I am an oat milk girly) a little over half way up the cup.
Then you will pull your espresso shots and pour it on top of the milk. If you do not have an espresso machine, you can easily use cold brew or instant coffee with this recipe as well!
For a special touch you can add cinnamon on top to make it a blueberry cobbler latte!
Now - sit back, sip, and enjoy!
Good coffee makes for a great day!
